Event highlights resilience and innovation in Lyon

JIMPACTE 2026, organized on Wednesday, November 4 at H7 in Lyon, will focus on how to make the Lyonnais territory more resilient to economic, climatic, or technological crises. Held under the banner ONLYLYON, this European Impact Day will bring together companies, startups, research laboratories, and economic actors from the territory.

Collaboration among multiple organizations

The event is co-organized by ONLYLYON & CO, the Lyon Metropolis, the CCI Lyon Metropolis Saint-Étienne Roanne, H7, Lyon Place Financière, Impact France, and the University of Lyon, in conjunction with the Economics Days. These partnerships aim to create a platform for shared knowledge and innovation in regional development.

Key themes and workshops

Several themes will be addressed, including cybersecurity, water and resource management, adaptation to climate change, technological innovation, and applied research. The afternoon will include workshops on risk anticipation using the Impact Score and ODACC tools, as well as sessions dedicated to cyber prevention and climate adaptation.

Startups and SMEs showcase local solutions

Startups and SMEs will also present local solutions in the areas of water, resources, and trusted technologies. These presentations aim to highlight innovative approaches to regional challenges and encourage collaboration between different sectors.

Research and development focus

Part of the day will be devoted to research and development. The University of Lyon and its University Innovation Hub will present the services offered by Lyonnais laboratories, while several networking sessions are expected to promote exchanges between large groups, SMEs, startups, researchers, and institutions.

Leadership and collaboration emphasized

"JIMPACTE embodies one of the missions of ONLYLYON: to bring together companies, researchers, and territory actors to highlight our solutions and foster new collaborations," states Bertrand Foucher, general director of ONLYLYON & CO. According to him, the goal is to make cooperation "a lever for resilience and attractiveness for the Lyonnais region."
