Hostinger, a company that provides website hosting and related services, has significantly upgraded its AI-powered support tool, Kodee. Now renamed Hostinger Agent, the system is capable of handling 91% of 1.5 million monthly customer support interactions on its own. The AI has been enhanced to perform a wider range of tasks, including search engine optimization (SEO), marketing, and even building websites. The upgraded AI agent integrates multiple functions, allowing it to create, plan, automate, and analyze tasks. It continues to operate independently, as Kodee did before, but will now refer complex issues to human experts when needed. According to Hostinger, this update is aimed at solving the problem of "AI fragmentation" for small businesses. Many small businesses currently use different AI tools for different tasks—like SEO, content writing, and analytics—often requiring them to manage multiple platforms and repeat information across conversations. Gartner, a research and advisory firm, predicts that by 2028, 60% of brands will be using agentic AI—systems that can operate autonomously and make decisions—in areas like marketing, sales, and customer support. Emilis Strimaitis, Head of Product Innovation at Hostinger, noted that while the AI industry has focused on offering more assistants and tools, Hostinger wants to eliminate the need for users to choose between different AI solutions. Hostinger Agent brings together support, marketing, SEO, content creation, data analysis, and routine tasks into a single interface. This integration allows users to manage their websites more efficiently, as the AI can not only provide advice but also take action within the website and Hostinger’s control panel, hPanel. This reduces the need for technical expertise and saves time. By consolidating these tools into one place, Hostinger Agent gains a better understanding of the business context, leading to more accurate and helpful recommendations. Users can access Hostinger Agent through AI Builder, Hostinger’s platform for creating websites, online stores, apps, and other digital projects using AI agents. This allows users to build their websites and consult with the AI agent at the same time, streamlining the website development process.
