Apple announces touchscreen feature

Apple has officially announced the first MacBook Pro OLED model with a touchscreen. This new feature adds a touchscreen and an OLED panel to the design, while also making the laptop lighter compared to previous models.

Release dates and availability

Some configurations of the MacBook Pro OLED models will not be available before November 13 or November 19, even though Amazon lists a release date of November 6. Pre-orders for the touchscreen models are available, with the highest price reaching €16,264 when all options are selected.

New features and design changes

The MacBook Pro OLED models retain the same M5 Pro and M5 Max chips as previous Mini LED models. The base configurations for RAM and SSD remain unchanged, but a new feature includes a backlit Apple logo on the laptop's case.
