Bouygues Telecom has launched a new fiber internet service called Bbox rentrée, designed to compete in the market for fixed broadband connections. This offer is priced at 27.99 euros per month for the first year, increasing to 34.99 euros per month afterward. It is available directly through the Bouygues Telecom website and includes high-speed fiber internet, a Wi-Fi 6E router, a 4K HDR TV decoder, unlimited calls to French landlines and international numbers, and a one-year contract.
The Bbox rentrée is particularly aimed at people living in apartments or densely populated areas, where multiple Wi-Fi networks can cause interference. It is also suitable for households with high internet usage, as the 1 Gb/s download speed supports activities like online gaming, streaming 4K movies, and downloading large files simultaneously without slowing down.
The Wi-Fi 6E bi-band router allows users to disable the 5 GHz band to access the newer 6 GHz band, which is compatible with the latest smartphones and computers. This setup enables the router to operate on both the 2.4 GHz band (for older or less advanced devices) and the 6 GHz band, offering a faster and more reliable wireless connection with less interference.
Bouygues Telecom handles the installation of the fiber at no extra cost. To ensure uninterrupted internet access while waiting for the technician, the company provides a 4G key with 200 GB of data as soon as the order is confirmed. The included 4K HDR TV decoder offers access to more than 180 channels, with features like live control and cloud recording. A mobile app allows users to manage their Wi-Fi settings, and technical support is available seven days a week.
The B.iG program adds extra value. If a customer already has or subscribes to a Bouygues Telecom mobile plan with at least 20 GB of data, the 27.99 euros monthly price remains fixed, and the rate increase to 34.99 euros after the first year is waived. Additionally, Bouygues Telecom is offering a 48 euro reimbursement for installation fees for any subscription before October 4, 2026, provided the user keeps their existing phone number. To retain their number when switching plans, users can call 3179 free of charge to obtain their RIO number and provide it when ordering the new plan. The new provider will then transfer the mobile number to the new line at no cost.
