Hardware prices have risen significantly in 2026, affecting a wide range of products, including Apple laptops, tablets, and smart devices. However, Apple has offered discounts on its refurbished Apple TV 4K models. The 64GB version is now available for $169, which is $30 less than the new retail price. The upgraded 128GB model, which includes an Ethernet port, is discounted to $209, a $40 reduction from its original price. These refurbished units are typically in near-mint condition and come with the same one-year warranty as new products. The Apple TV 4K (third generation) functions as both a mini gaming console and a top-tier streaming device, especially appealing to users with an Apple Arcade subscription. It allows users to connect Bluetooth controllers, like the PlayStation 5’s DualSense, enabling them to play PC or console games on a larger screen. The device supports advanced video formats like Dolby Vision and HDR10 Plus, offering better contrast and image quality than many cheaper streaming devices or even the PS5. Siri can be used to quickly search for favorite shows and movies. Both the 64GB and 128GB models can act as a HomeKit hub for smart home devices, but only the version with the Ethernet port supports the Thread networking protocol. In addition to Apple’s deals, other retailers are offering discounts on various tech products. At Best Buy, the Energizer 3-in-1 15W magnetic charger is now available for $20, down from its usual price. A Ring Doorbell 2K and Indoor Cam bundle is on sale for $60, a significant drop from the regular $140. The doorbell is battery-powered and includes live video, two-way audio, and night vision. At Walmart, the Vizio 4.1 soundbar is discounted to $100.80, usually priced at $168. This bundle includes a 30-inch soundbar, two wireless surround speakers, and a wireless subwoofer, all supporting Dolby Atmos for immersive audio experiences.
