The former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jiri Prochazka, will face Navajo Stirling in the main event of the upcoming UFC card in Doha, Qatar, on November 21. This event will feature several high-profile matchups, including a bout between the former featherweight title holder, Aljamain Sterling, and the rising featherweight prospect, Kevin Vallejos. Prochazka, who has a record of 32–6–1, is looking to bounce back after a loss in a title fight against Carlos Ulberg in April. Despite injuring his opponent, Prochazka was knocked out in the first round. However, he remains undefeated in non-title fights since joining the UFC in 2020, with his only losses coming in title fights against Ulberg and twice against Alex Pereira. Navajo Stirling, who has an undefeated record of 11–0, has already fought three times in the octagon this year, winning all of them by knockout. His victories include bouts against Bruno Lopes, Ion Cutelaba, and the former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz. Stirling was signed through the Contender Series, a program that gives fighters an opportunity to earn a UFC contract by performing well in live events. His performance has made him a rising star in the organization. The card will also include a lightweight matchup between Brian Ortega and Dan Hooker. This will be Ortega’s return to the cage after he withdrew from a recent fight against Renato Moicano due to a cut on his eye. Hooker is also returning quickly after a first-round knockout loss to Salahdine Parnasse earlier this month. The confirmed fights for the event include Jiri Prochazka vs. Navajo Stirling, Aljamain Sterling vs. Kevin Vallejos, Dan Hooker vs. Brian Ortega, Asu Almabayev vs. Kyoji Horiguchi, Jared Cannonier vs. Ikram Aliskerov, Aleksandre Topuria vs. Santiago Luna, Shamil Gaziev vs. Tallison Teixeira, Amir Albazi vs. Alessandro Costa, and Jake Matthews vs. Tahir Abdullayev.
