The Onyx Boox Note Air6 C is a Chinese-made E Ink tablet that functions both as an e-reader and a tablet running the Android operating system. This allows users to install apps from the Google Play Store, offering more flexibility than traditional e-readers, which typically have limited software options.

High-resolution color and black-and-white screens

The device features a 10.3-inch E Ink Kaleido 3 screen capable of displaying 4,096 colors in color mode and black and white in monochrome mode. While the color saturation is better than that of the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, the black and white contrast is weaker, requiring frequent use of front lighting for clarity.

Design and included accessories

The tablet has a metal chassis with an aluminum body, measuring 225 x 192 mm and weighing 440 grams. It includes a stylus with a matte coating, a USB-C port, a fingerprint reader, and a microSD card slot. The stylus, however, comes with a small rubber cap that is easily lost, and it lacks an eraser, though software can help with this limitation.

The Boox Note Air6 C is priced at 579.99 euros, including a protective case. It competes with devices like the reMarkable Paper Pro and the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, both priced at 649 euros.
