Housing Month in Loire Department

The Loire Department is hosting its third edition of Housing Month from November 5 to 27, with various activities taking place across the region. This initiative is designed to provide residents with practical advice and information on a range of housing-related topics.

Focus on key housing themes

The event will center on four main themes: access to a first home, comfort and quality of housing, and the autonomy of elderly individuals or those with disabilities. These themes reflect the department’s emphasis on creating accessible, adapted, and high-quality housing for all residents.

Activities across the region

Housing Month will include a variety of events such as workshops, guided visits, and meetings. For instance, the city of Saint-Chamond will host a session on the purchase-lease option and offer visits to housing units on November 20.

Information events and exhibitions

In Montbrison, an information evening and an exhibition will be held on November 5, continuing until November 13. These events aim to educate attendees about housing options and support services available in the area.

Workshops on sustainability and accessibility

A workshop to help reduce water and energy consumption will take place in Roanne on November 19 and in Montbrison on November 20. Additionally, workshops with occupational therapists to adapt housing for individuals with special needs will be held in Montbrison on November 13, Pélussin on November 23, and Saint-Chamond on November 26.
