Logitech has unveiled the G Pro X2 Superstrike mouse, a new product tailored for first-person shooter (FPS) gamers. The mouse features an innovative system called HITS, which stands for High-Intensity Trigger System. This system allows users to adjust the mouse's reset point, enabling faster and more efficient chaining of clicks—something that can be crucial in fast-paced gaming scenarios. The mouse is currently available on Amazon at a discounted price as part of the French Week promotion, offering a 35% discount from its usual price of 179.99 euros. The reduced price of 114.99 euros is available to Prime subscribers using the promo code FRPRIME15, which is valid until the end of the promotion period. The G Pro X2 Superstrike includes an ergonomic design aimed at comfort during long gaming sessions. It also features the Hero 2 sensor, which offers a high resolution of up to 44,000 DPI and an acceleration capability of up to 88 G. This sensor helps ensure precise tracking on various surfaces. Connectivity options are both wired and wireless, with the wired option offering up to 1,000 Hz polling rate and the wireless option using a USB-C dongle to reach up to 8,000 Hz. The mouse is designed for right-handed users, with buttons located on the left side, and it has a white body with black click buttons. The HITS system's full potential can be accessed through Logitech's G Hub software, which allows users to customize various parameters, including the reset point and how commands are distributed across the mouse's buttons. This customization helps gamers tailor the mouse to their specific playstyle and preferences. The G Pro X2 Superstrike also boasts a battery life of up to 90 hours when used wirelessly, making it suitable for extended use without frequent recharging. The mouse has been tested by Frandroid, a French technology news site, which awarded it a score of 9 out of 10. This high rating suggests that the G Pro X2 Superstrike is well-regarded for its performance, design, and value, especially during the current promotional period. Gamers looking for a high-performance mouse with advanced customization options may find this model to be a strong contender in the competitive gaming market.
