Release date and editions confirmed

Thief: The Dark Project Remastered will launch on December 3 for PC and consoles, offering both Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. Fans can pre-order physical versions, including Steelbook and Deluxe editions, starting now.

Remaster includes new content

The remastered version of the 1998 stealth game features the original Thief: The Dark Project, additional content from the 1999 Thief Gold re-release, and a new standalone campaign titled The Tarnished Mirror.

New campaign bridges game eras

The Tarnished Mirror is developed by the creators of Thief: The Black Parade, a highly regarded fan-made expansion. The campaign links Thief: The Dark Project with Thief II: The Metal Age, introducing new factions, Lovecraftian horror, and environments.

Gameplay and themes

In The Tarnished Mirror, players engage in a heist that spirals into imprisonment and uneasy alliances, exploring a submerged, eerie city. The campaign emphasizes stealth, expanded enemy types, and immersive horror.

The Standard Digital Edition costs 29.99€, while the Deluxe Edition includes extra content for 34.99€. Physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 are available for pre-order, with backward compatibility for original Nintendo Switch consoles.
