New Fortnite event begins
Fortnite has launched a new event called "Chasse aux trésors" (Treasure Hunt), starting on November 1. This event places players on a new Battle Royale island for what is described as the largest adventure in the game to date.Event features ONE PIECE inspirations
Players in the event will be equipped with abilities inspired by characters from ONE PIECE, searching for hidden treasures, including the contents of Captain X's mega-chest. The event is opened by the Straw Hat crew and A$AP Rocky.Weekly captain appearances
Each week, a new captain and their crew will appear to take control of points of interest on the map. This includes Lil Uzi Vert, Captain Hatsune Miku, and Kasane Teto, leading up to the grand final on December 5. A gameplay trailer is available for viewing.Collaboration with Toei Animation
The key art for the event was created in partnership with Toei Animation. The event features new locations inspired by ONE PIECE, including the "île aux os mêlés" (Mixed Bones Island), designed for 80 players.New abilities and locations

The Battle Pass and Fortnite Store feature ONE PIECE characters, including Ace, Robin, and others in the Battle Pass. Luffy, Nami, and Usopp are available in the Store at the start of the season, with A$AP Rocky becoming available on November 5.
