Asia Now 2026 festival dates

The Asia Now 2026 art festival will take place from Tuesday, October 20 to Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Monnaie de Paris for its sixteenth edition.

Participation and scope

The event will bring together more than 150 artists from 24 territories and nearly 60 galleries, institutions, and private foundations.

Festival's mission

This edition continues a research initiative that began in 2015, aiming to reflect the diversity of artistic scenes in Asia and its diasporas while amplifying the voices of artists from the global Asias, who are sometimes underrepresented.

Exploring new perspectives

The festival will also explore new perspectives by continuing to question the relationships between centers and peripheries.

Festival's focus since 2015

Since its inception in 2015, Asia Now has focused on the contexts in which artworks are created, the narratives they reactivate, and the circulations that transform them.

International collaborations

This year's edition will feature participation from the Jogja Biennale (Indonesia), Villa Hegra (Saudi Arabia), and the Kalhath Institute (India).

Central theme of the festival

The central theme of the festival is "Sentimental value," which questions the processes by which works, objects, and materials acquire value through contact with the lives that pass through them.
