Teenager arrested for traffic violation

A 16-year-old was arrested around 1:50 p.m. on avenue Georges Clémenceau, number 30, after police stopped him for not wearing a seat belt. The officer conducted a routine check and discovered the teenager no longer had a valid driver's license.

Drug possession discovered during search

During a security pat-down, the minor handed over a product labeled as CBD in commercial packaging. Drug screening results later showed the presence of THC, cocaine, and opioids. The teenager also discarded a pouch containing a white powder resembling cocaine during the check.

Large quantity of narcotics seized

The police found more than 130 grams of drugs in the vehicle and on the young man. The total included 33.4 grams of cocaine, 46.1 grams of cannabis, 13.8 grams of ketamine, and 42.7 grams of heroin.

Teenager initially denies trafficking

After being questioned by investigators, the teenager admitted to driving without a license and under the influence of drugs, as well as consuming cannabis and cocaine. However, he denied involvement in trafficking, stating he was unaware of the contents of the vehicle, which he claimed had been lent to him by a colleague.

Teenager later admits to all charges

Following further investigations, the police concluded there was evidence of drug trafficking. The minor was questioned again and admitted to all the charges brought against him. His custody ended on Thursday, October 22, 2026, and he was transferred to appear before the children's judge at 4 p.m.
