Honor has launched the Pad X9 Max, a new tablet tailored for users who enjoy streaming movies, shows, and other media. The device is designed with features that enhance the viewing experience, including four AI-optimized speakers, a 13-inch screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and support for IMAX Enhanced technology. This technology allows users to enjoy select films and content in a format similar to what's shown in IMAX theaters. For a limited time, the tablet is available with a 50 euro discount using the code A10EDM, bringing the price of the 256 GB version down to 449.90 euros. The offer also includes a wireless headset and a Bluetooth speaker. The Pad X9 Max has a slim profile, measuring just 6.72 mm in thickness and weighing 618 grams. Its 13-inch screen features thinner bezels compared to the iPad Air M4, resulting in an 88% screen-to-body ratio. This makes for a more immersive experience when watching videos or streaming content. However, the screen may be prone to smudges during use. The display has a resolution of 2.5 K and a 120 Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and clarity. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor paired with 6 GB of RAM, which is adequate for multitasking and streaming but may not handle more demanding tasks like gaming. It also includes a large 10,100 mAh battery, which provides up to 16 hours of continuous video playback, making it suitable for long sessions of entertainment. This battery capacity is particularly useful for users who watch a lot of content on the go. Honor's Pad X9 Max is positioned as a premium streaming tablet, focusing on audio and visual quality. Its features, such as the AI-optimized speakers and IMAX Enhanced support, aim to deliver a cinema-like experience on a portable device. The tablet's slim design and long battery life also make it convenient for users who want to enjoy media without frequent recharging. While it may not be ideal for heavy gaming or high-performance tasks, it offers a compelling option for those who prioritize multimedia consumption.
