The Ryzen 7 7800X3D, a high-performance processor from AMD, is currently available at a discounted price of 236.64 € on AliExpress during the French Days 2026 promotion. This is a significant reduction from its previous listed price of 333.58 €, and the discount can be applied using the code FWFR20. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is an AM5 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, capable of reaching a maximum boost frequency of 5 GHz. It uses the AM5 socket, which supports DDR5 memory, and includes 96 MB of L3 cache, which is part of AMD's 3D V-Cache technology. This technology enhances gaming performance, and testing by Clubic has shown that the processor performs exceptionally well in gaming benchmarks. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is compatible with AM5 motherboards that use B650, B650E, X670, and X670E chipsets. However, it is no longer the latest X3D processor from AMD, as newer models such as the Ryzen 7 9800X3D have been released. Despite this, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D remains a solid choice for gaming, especially when paired with high-end graphics cards and high-frequency displays. Its performance in gaming scenarios is particularly strong, making it a popular option among gamers. That said, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D may not be the best choice for tasks like 3D rendering or video encoding, where processors with more cores or newer X3D models might offer better results. Additionally, the processor does not come with a cooler, so users must provide their own cooling solution. For those upgrading from older platforms, the cost of transitioning to an AM5 motherboard and DDR5 memory could also be a consideration. At the discounted price, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D presents a cost-effective option for gamers who already own an AM5 platform or are willing to invest in the necessary components. The French Days 2026 promotion, which runs from September 7 at 8 am until September 14 at 11:59 pm, includes this deal along with other promotions and discounts, as tracked by Clubic.
