Apple has officially unveiled the Apple Watch Series 11, a new version of its popular wearable device that includes updated health sensors but does not mark a complete redesign. The Series 11 is still considered a strong option, especially with a current discount of 130 euros. Its key features include a bright OLED screen, accurate heart rate and GPS tracking, and over 40 hours of battery life. The Apple Watch Series 11 (GPS, 46 mm) was originally priced at 479 euros, but it is now available at a promotional price of 349 euros at Joybuy. If this offer is no longer available, other deals related to the Series 11 can be found in an automatically updated table. The Apple Watch Series 11 incorporates many of the improvements from the Series 10, such as a thinner body and narrower screen bezels. In comparison, the Series 12 is slightly wider (46 mm x 40 mm x 9.7 mm versus 46 mm x 39 mm x 9.7 mm). The Series 11 is also highly durable, featuring more scratch-resistant glass, an IP6X dust protection rating, and a 5 ATM water resistance rating, making it suitable for use in the pool. The Apple Watch Series 11 features a 1.99-inch OLED screen in its 46 mm version, compatible with LTPO3 technology. This allows the screen’s refresh rate to drop as low as 1 Hz when needed, improving battery efficiency. The display can reach a peak brightness of 2000 cd/m², making it easy to read even in direct sunlight. In testing, the Series 11 lasted 46 hours with power-hungry settings enabled before turning off. In terms of charging, it can regain up to 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes, compared to 12 hours for the Series 12. The Apple Watch Series 11 benefits from features introduced in watchOS 11, including notifications for high blood pressure, a sleep score assessment, an AI coach called "Workout Buddy," and direct translation in messages (with a compatible iPhone running Apple Intelligence). Apple has also released watchOS 27, which adds new gestures, menopause tracking, and improved accuracy for indoor running and walking. In terms of sensors, the Series 12 introduces a new health tracking system, while the Series 11 retains the sensors from the Series 10. These include reliable heart rate monitoring, electrocardiogram (ECG) functionality, blood oxygen level measurement, and a skin temperature sensor useful for tracking the menstrual cycle. The watch also includes the Vital Signs app and can detect sleep apnea. Its GPS has shown high accuracy during testing, though it only uses a single frequency band (L1), unlike the dual-band GPS in Apple’s Ultra models. Additionally, the Series 11 does not allow direct local map management within the Exercise app.
