Stray cat rescued from London streets

A stray cat named Minty was abandoned by his family and spent months surviving alone on the streets of London, England, before being rescued by The Stray Cat Club shelter. When rescuers arrived to retrieve the cat, they found him in visible distress, with scars, flea bites, a broken tooth, and two eye injuries.

Minty’s condition upon arrival

Minty arrived at the shelter exhausted, in pain, and deeply disoriented. The rescuers placed him in a foster home to help him relax in a comfortable environment. At the shelter, veterinarians treated his injuries, removing his damaged tooth and allowing his eyes to heal.

Discovery of asthma and treatment

However, his foster family later noticed that Minty had asthma attacks and decided to have him undergo several tests and begin a treatment to help ease his symptoms. Minty is described as an adorable cat who loves cuddles and play, often running to his foster mother when she uses a feather wand.

Looking for a permanent home

Now, Minty is looking for a permanent family, ideally with children old enough to play with him. He has learned to trust again and is hopeful about finding a home for life.
