In upcoming episodes of Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle, Emma (played by Pauline Bression) is dealing with new challenges after returning to the Mistral several weeks ago. She has taken a job at a SCOP, which is a type of worker cooperative where employees have a say in how the business is run. However, her position at the SCOP has led to conflict with David, an employee who helped start the company. David is described as having a difficult personality and has been at odds with Emma. Last week, David had a heated argument with Chris Vavin (played by Léo Bastard), who then resigned from his job rather than continue working with David. As Chris was leaving the factory, he was hit by a car and taken to the hospital. Since then, the Vavin family has been trying to find out if David was responsible for the accident. Emma decided to fire David to prevent further problems for the company. In an episode available early on TF1+, David is called to the police station by Idriss. During his interrogation, David realizes that someone has testified against him and confronts Chloe on the square of the Mistral, slapping her in front of Emma. In the episode scheduled for Friday, October 9, also available on TF1+, Chloe files a complaint with the police for the assault. David now faces the possibility of up to three years in prison and a fine of 45,000 euros, in addition to the complaint from the Vavin family. Idriss tells Emma and Chloe that David is in serious trouble because of these two incidents. However, it seems that this new trial is too much for David. While Emma is talking about her problems with Barbara, she receives an SMS from David saying, "I regret all the harm I have done, I gave everything for this factory, that is where my path must end." Worried, Emma rushes to the SCOP and finds Gisèle in tears, who says, "We should never have fired him, it's all our fault," before showing Emma the lifeless body of David. It appears that he has taken his own life. However, Emma and Chloe will have doubts about the conclusions of the incident that occurred the previous day and will team up to discover the truth. The answer will be revealed in the upcoming episodes of Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle.
