Black Friday 2026 discounts on Dyson V8 Cyclone

Black Friday 2026 saw significant discounts on high-end vacuum cleaners, with the Dyson V8 Cyclone available at Boulanger.com for 249.00 €, a 17% reduction compared to the average price of the previous month.

Methodology for calculating the price decrease

The price decrease was calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices practiced by all merchants for the product last month, with safety rules to exclude prices from stores whose VAT policy is not clear.

Rick from Les Numériques reviews Dyson V8 Cyclone

Rick from Les Numériques, who tested the Dyson V8 Cyclone, noted that the 2025 version of the stick vacuum cleaner, originally launched in 2016, remained largely unchanged. The model offers good suction performance and easy maintenance, with relatively discreet visual and acoustic characteristics.

Weaknesses of Dyson V8 Cyclone

However, it has weaknesses, including insufficient autonomy at turbo power, difficult brush extraction, and a lack of practical features such as an autonomy indicator or LED strip. Despite these shortcomings, the V8 Cyclone is described as effective and easy to maintain, with minor improvements in handling and noise management, as well as a removable battery.

Alternative model: Dreame R20

An alternative to the Dyson V8 Cyclone, the Dreame R20, was also highlighted. The Dreame R20 performs efficiently if the appropriate suction head is chosen for the surface being cleaned. It benefits from highly efficient multi-cyclonic filtration, making maintenance straightforward.

Features and shortcomings of Dreame R20

While a more durable boost mode or an estimate of remaining autonomy in minutes and seconds, rather than in percentage, would have been appreciated, the Dreame R20 is described as a very successful model.
