Leapmotor unveils the B03, an electric compact car with 390 km range and fast charging, set for 2027 launch.
Leapmotor B03 unveiled at Paris Motor Show
The Leapmotor B03 was introduced at the 2026 Paris Motor Show as an affordable and versatile compact electric vehicle designed to compete with other models in its class. The car is set to launch in 2027 and aims to serve both urban and longer driving needs.Positioning between Leapmotor models
The B03 is positioned between the smaller Leapmotor T03 and larger models in the company's lineup. It fills a gap by offering more space and range than the T03, which is a micro-city car with a 265 km WLTP range and a starting price of 16,900 euros.Interior space and storage features
The B03 emphasizes habitability with up to 888 mm of space at the back and a modular boot that includes a double-level floor on some versions. Additional features include a waterproof storage compartment called Leap Box under the floor and more than 30 storage compartments throughout the cabin.Range and battery options
The B03 offers a WLTP range of up to 390 km, significantly more than the T03's 265 km. In China, it has two battery options, 39.8 kWh and 53 kWh, offering 405 km and 510 km on the local CLTC cycle. For Europe, Stellantis reports a WLTC range of up to 392 km, pending final approval.Charging and performance features
The B03 supports a fast 2.5C charge, allowing a 10 to 80% charge in 21 minutes on a suitable DC charger. It has a 145 kW electric motor focused on performance and efficiency, along with a 14.6-inch floating touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital combination display. The in-house Leap OS 4.0 Plus system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and includes advanced comfort features like heated seats and 21 driver assistance systems.
