Embraer's record order book

Embraer, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, reported a record order book of 35.7 billion dollars at the end of the third quarter. This represents a 3 percent increase compared to the backlog established in the second quarter and a 14 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Commercial Aviation growth

The Commercial Aviation division's order book reached 15.8 billion dollars, up 5 percent compared to the previous quarterly report. During the quarter, Embraer recorded orders for 36 E-Jets E2, along with thirty options, bringing the firm orders for E2 models to 72 since the beginning of the year.

Business Aviation record

The Business Aviation division also achieved a record order book of 8.2 billion dollars, up 5 percent compared to the second quarter, with an order-to-delivery ratio of 1.4 over twelve months. This indicates that the company is receiving more orders than it can deliver in the short term.

Defense and Security activity

The Defense and Security activity's order book reached 6.1 billion dollars, stable compared to the previous quarter but up 56 percent compared to last year, with a book-to-bill ratio of 2.9. This suggests strong demand for defense-related products and services.

Services division growth

Finally, the Services division reached a record level with an order book of 5.6 billion dollars, growing by 2 percent compared to the quarter. This reflects continued interest in maintenance, training, and other support services for Embraer's aircraft.
