Razer releases new Kraken Kitty V3 headset

Razer has introduced the Kraken Kitty V3, a wired RGB headset aimed at streamers who want to express their personality and interact with their audience during live broadcasts.

Design features cat ears and RGB lighting

The headset includes the signature cat ears from the Kraken series and adds earcups with Chroma RGB lighting that changes in real time based on events happening during a stream. The lighting can display 16.8 million different colors.

Lighting reacts to stream interactions

Using the Razer Streamer Companion app, the RGB lighting responds to chat messages, alerts, and emojis from viewers. This feature allows streamers to create a more dynamic and engaging visual experience for their audience.

RGB effects work offline and in various settings

The headset can maintain its RGB lighting effects even when not connected to a computer, thanks to an external battery linked via a USB-C cable. This makes it suitable for use in living rooms, cosplay events, or other community gatherings.

Three lighting presets for different occasions

Users can choose from three preset lighting modes to adjust the colors and effects based on the character they're portraying or the atmosphere they want to create during their streams.

Microphone and speakers tailored for streaming

The HyperClear cardioid microphone captures the streamer's voice clearly while reducing background noise. The 40 mm TriForce speakers use a three-part design to better distinguish between game sounds, voices, and ambient noise.

Enhanced audio with 7.1 surround sound

The headset includes 7.1 surround sound technology, which improves spatial awareness and helps streamers and viewers better locate sounds coming from different directions.

Comfort and ease of use

The USB-C port allows for quick setup and plug-and-play functionality. The earpads, made from a combination of hybrid fabric and synthetic leather, provide comfort and help block out background noise.

Pricing and availability

The Razer Kraken Kitty V3 is now available for purchase at a price of 109.99 euros.
