Player chooses to stay in France

Aurèle Brena-Chemille, a basketball player who had been expected to move to the United States after strong performances in the playoffs with Poitiers, has decided to remain in France. He will sign with Saint-Quentin Basket Ball (SQBB), a team he nearly eliminated in May of last year with two games of 18 points each in the quarterfinals.

SQBB's interest in Brena-Chemille

The staff and general manager Anthony Ottou had likely appreciated Brena-Chemille's performances and had kept him in mind. Brena-Chemille will arrive as a medical assistant to Paul Rigot, who is expected to be absent for six weeks due to Achilles tendon pain. This means that Brena-Chemille's registration in the NCAA could not be completed.

Rigot's injury and treatment plan

SQBB announced that Rigot will undergo a six-week rest and treatment period. To compensate for his absence, SQBB announced the arrival of Brena-Chemille as a medical assistant.
