Lenovo and NVIDIA launch AI infrastructure solutions

Lenovo and NVIDIA have introduced pre-assembled and tested AI infrastructure solutions to help companies quickly gain AI capabilities. These systems are designed to cut down on the time and complexity of setting up AI infrastructure, with delivery times ranging from three to five weeks depending on the organization's size.

Solutions aim to reduce integration time

The initiative, named Lenovo AI Express, builds on the existing Lenovo Hybrid AI Factory with NVIDIA offering. It provides servers, GPUs, network components, and AI software in pre-validated configurations to minimize the integration process and workload for companies.

Three configurations for different needs

Three configurations are available, each tailored to different scales of AI usage. The small configuration supports a few dozen users, the medium configuration serves several hundred users, and the large configuration is designed for thousands of users in large-scale AI environments. Each has different delivery times and hardware specifications.

Hardware details and delivery times

The small configuration includes a ThinkSystem SR650a V4 server with two NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs and can be delivered in 15 business days. The medium configuration uses a ThinkSystem SR675 V3 with eight NVIDIA GPUs and is delivered in 20 business days. The large configuration, featuring a ThinkSystem SR680a V4 and NVIDIA HGX B300, is delivered in 25 business days.

Additional software and support options

Companies can enhance their AI infrastructure with additional software such as Red Hat AI Factory with NVIDIA, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, and Veeam Kasten for data protection. Lenovo also provides support for identifying use cases, verifying ROI, and optimizing GPU performance and cost efficiency.

Global distribution and regional variations

Lenovo plans to use its global partner program, Lenovo 360, to expand the availability of these solutions. The minimum delivery times apply only to specific products and components in markets without regulatory restrictions and are calculated from the order validation, payment, and other approvals.
