Dyson launches new heating and cooling device

Dyson, a British brand known for its innovations in the vacuum cleaner market, has expanded its product range to include heating and fan devices. One of its latest models, the Hot+Cool HF1, is a two-in-one device that can both heat and ventilate, and it is currently available with a 130 euro discount at Boulanger, bringing its price down from an initial 429 euros to 299 euros.

Safety features for families

The device features a bladeless design, which is considered safer for households with children, as it avoids exposed heating elements and includes an automatic shut-off if the device tips over. It also includes a child lock that disables the controls.

Air Multiplier technology enhances performance

The Hot+Cool HF1 uses Dyson's Air Multiplier technology, which enhances airflow by drawing in surrounding air. This allows the device to provide a powerful and continuous airflow for ventilation in summer and rapid heat distribution in winter.

Efficient heating and smart controls

The device can increase the temperature of a room of 35 cubic meters by one degree in three minutes, according to the brand, thanks to its ceramic high-density heating plates. It also features an intelligent thermostat that continuously monitors the room temperature to maintain the desired level and reduce energy consumption.

Smart app and voice control integration

The device is programmable and controllable remotely through the MyDyson app, where users can set specific temperatures (from 12 to 32°C), program heating operating time slots, activate a silent night mode at 26 dB, or start a sleep timer. It is also compatible with voice assistants such as Siri, Alexa, and Google Home.

Compact and user-friendly design

With a height of 585 mm and a weight of 2.59 kg, the Hot+Cool HF1 is designed to be compact and unobtrusive in a room. It includes a front knob for adjusting speed and temperature, with settings displayed on an LCD screen. The device can swivel up to an angle of 70° and can be manually tilted forward or backward to direct airflow as needed.
