The popular television show Glee, which originally aired from 2009 to 2015, is set to return in a new version. Created by Ryan Murphy, Glee was known for its musical style and focus on high school life, and it developed a strong fan base during its initial run. However, details about the reboot, such as its content and which original cast members will return, are still unclear. The show's original run ended on March 20, 2015, and since then, fans have been eager for updates on a potential revival. Chris Colfer, who portrayed the character Kurt in Glee, recently spoke to Bustle about the possibility of a reboot. He mentioned that he had not received any official information about the project. "I have absolutely heard nothing about the reboot of Glee," he said. "I know nothing and have absolutely heard nothing about the reboot. I would like that to be the case." Colfer acknowledged the challenges of reviving a show that was already complex to produce, especially given the absence of Naya Rivera, who played Santana and tragically passed away in 2020. He also humorously noted that fans might react strongly if he refused to participate. Despite the uncertainty about the reboot, Colfer remains in touch with his former co-stars. "We send each other a lot of messages," he said. "I talk to someone who was in Glee almost every day. We send each other a lot of messages, and these are mostly funny images or pictures of each other's children. But we also try to see each other as often as possible." Recently, Colfer visited the set of the American version of Dancing with the Stars to support Harry Shum Jr., who played Mike Chang in Glee. Shum is currently competing on the show, and Colfer shared how meaningful it was for him to see Shum's daughter watch her father perform. Whether Colfer and Shum will reunite on screen in the Glee reboot remains to be seen. For now, fans are left waiting for more information about the show's return and who will be involved in its new chapter.
