Accessory manufacturers have shared details about Apple's upcoming iPhone models, including the iPhone Ultra and iPhone 18 Pro, ahead of Apple's September 9 keynote event. These details were revealed at IFA, a major trade show in Berlin that typically focuses on home electronics but also includes smartphone accessory companies. The IFA event happens just days before Apple's back-to-school keynote, which is expected to introduce the first foldable iPhone alongside the iPhone 18, following the iPhone 17 released in 2025. At IFA, accessory makers displayed protective cases designed for these new models. The iPhone Ultra, though not officially named, was shown as a mock-up in a single-piece case. This is different from typical cases for foldable phones, which are usually split into two parts. The case showed the rounded edges of the iPhone Ultra and its dual camera setup. The color displayed for the iPhone Ultra was sky blue, the same as the iPhone Air. For the iPhone 18 Pro, accessory manufacturers confirmed two expected colors: a deep, dark shade referred to as violine, which has also been called Dark Cherry in earlier rumors, and sky blue. These colors were prominently featured at the IFA event, giving attendees a glimpse of the design choices Apple may be considering for its latest flagship model. The upcoming iPhone models suggest Apple is expanding its product line, possibly targeting different consumer preferences with variations in design and color. The timing of these revelations, just before Apple's major event, indicates that the company is preparing to unveil significant updates to its smartphone lineup, which could include new features and form factors.
