Ariana Grande recently thanked her fans during her final live concert in London, marking the end of her "Eternal Sunshine Tour." The singer, who performed her last show on Tuesday at London’s O2 Arena, described the tour as one of the "most beautiful, extraordinary experiences" of her life. This was the final leg of a 10-show run in the UK, following 41 total dates across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. Grande, who has taken a break from the public eye since August, expressed deep emotion about concluding her tour, saying she would "cherish this experience always." Grande had previously announced in August that she would be stepping back from public appearances after the tour. A representative told People magazine that the 33-year-old singer wanted to finish the tour "healthily and happily" and then take a "much-deserved break" from the intense scrutiny that comes with being in the public eye. Ahead of the penultimate show, Grande shared on social media that she had to switch out her signature six-inch heeled platform boots after cutting her foot. While she was "a few inches shorter" on stage, her fans still dressed in her signature style, wearing stilettos, cat ears, and ponytails. Grande noticed and praised their efforts, saying, "Thank you for all of your effort and continuing to make this so special." The concert ended with a dramatic, sci-fi-themed finale, where Grande was "summoned back, sci-fi style, to a spacecraft" as she ascended to the "mothership" in a beam of light. While no official date has been given for her next public appearance, Grande’s latest album, Petal, will be a key part of the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards in September. She is nominated for Artist of the Year, ensuring her presence will be felt even as she steps away from the spotlight.
