French singer Vianney announced the release of his new album Les Évadés on October 7, with the album expected to be available on November 6. This marks his official return to music after taking a break from his career for several months. During this time, he focused on building a cabin in the woods, which he used as a recording space for the album. In a handmade post on Instagram, made from paper and newspapers, Vianney shared that Les Évadés was "written, composed, and recorded without a computer," emphasizing a return to more traditional methods. He also revealed the 11 track titles, including the first single, "D'or et d'étain," which was released in late August. The album will be available for pre-order starting October 8 at 12:00. To support the release, Vianney had previously announced a tour across France, beginning in Reims on March 24, 2027, and ending in Narbonne on March 24, 2028. The tour will also include a date in Brussels. This will be Vianney’s first major tour in five years, a period during which he stepped back from the public eye and shared his decision with fans. The 35-year-old artist, who is also set to become a godfather in the upcoming season of Star Academy, has been preparing for this return to live performances. In addition to his music career, Vianney has recently become a father for the second time. He has also taken on the role of a carpenter, spending nine months building a wooden cabin in the middle of nature. This cabin, located away from modern distractions, served as both a sanctuary and a recording studio for Les Évadés. The project reflects his desire to reconnect with nature and create music in a more authentic, hands-on way. His time in the cabin, combined with his personal life changes, has influenced the themes and sound of the new album. Vianney’s return to music and live performances comes after a period of reflection and personal growth. His fans have been eagerly awaiting his new work, and the announcement of both the album and the tour has generated excitement across France and beyond. With Les Évadés set to be released soon, Vianney is poised to re-enter the music scene with a fresh perspective and a renewed creative energy.
