Bouygues Telecom, a major French telecommunications provider, has launched the B&You 200 Go Voyage plan, aimed at helping users avoid expensive roaming charges when traveling outside the European Union. The plan costs 15.99 euros per month without any long-term commitment and includes 200 gigabytes (Go) of mobile data for use in France on Bouygues Telecom's 5G network, along with 40 Go for use in over 160 international destinations. The 200 Go allowance in France is significantly higher than the average monthly data consumption of French users, allowing for activities such as video streaming, web browsing, online music, and sharing the connection with a laptop without tracking usage. The 5G network provides faster internet speeds and more reliable performance during busy times. The 40 Go international data allowance covers more than 160 destinations, including locations outside Europe like the DOM (Departments and Territories of the Overseas), Switzerland, Morocco, and the United States. This plan is tailored for frequent travelers who often visit distant locations, offering enough data for typical use during a vacation lasting two to three weeks. This includes web browsing, messaging, using social media, checking emails, and making some video calls. The B&You 200 Go plan is designed to eliminate the need to buy a local SIM card abroad, which can be inconvenient and require changing phone numbers. Users can cancel the plan at any time without penalty, offering flexibility. Additionally, those who also subscribe to the Pure Fiber B&You internet service can get a discounted rate of 12.99 euros per month for the mobile plan. The Pure Fiber B&You service costs 24.99 euros per month and includes high-speed internet with download speeds of up to 2 gigabits per second (Gb/s) and upload speeds of 900 megabits per second (Mb/s), along with a compatible Wi-Fi 7 router that supports the latest wireless technology. This bundle provides both fast home internet and flexible mobile data for travelers.
