On October 8, 2026, seven Pie rouge cows competed in the dairy ring at the Sommet de l'Élevage in Cournon, a major agricultural fair in France. In this competition, Samedi (Okaidi Red), owned by the EARL de la Geres, was named grand champion of the Pie rouge breed and also received the award for the best udder. However, Urluberlu’s right hind quarter slightly affected her score compared to Samedi. Judge Pierrick Le Roux, who traveled from the Côtes d'Armor region, noted that several farms had to withdraw from the competition due to problems on their farms. Samedi, in her third lactation, was described as a powerful and robust cow with a well-functioning udder that has aged well. She also had a strong skeleton and good body condition, which contributed to her overall high score. Urluberlu, while not winning the grand champion title, was recognized for her potential and promising future in breeding.
