A 5 terabyte external hard drive from the brand Intenso is currently available on Amazon for 149.99 euros, which is a 40-euro discount from its regular price of 189.99 euros. The drive is designed in a compact 2.5-inch format, making it easy to carry around. It connects to computers, Macs, TVs, and PS4 consoles using a USB 3.0 port, allowing users to transfer files easily between devices. The hard drive has a read speed of up to 85 megabytes per second (MB/s) and a write speed of up to 75 MB/s. These speeds are slower compared to solid-state drives (SSDs), which use flash memory instead of spinning disks, but the Intenso drive offers significantly more storage space for a lower price. It uses a traditional mechanical spinning disk that rotates at 5,400 revolutions per minute, along with 8 MB of cache memory to improve performance. The device measures 12.6 x 7.7 x 2 centimeters and weighs about 240 grams, making it lightweight and easy to transport. It is powered entirely through the USB connection, so no separate power adapter is needed. This makes it convenient for use on the go or in situations where a power outlet is not available. While the Intenso hard drive is ideal for storing large amounts of data such as family photos, computer backups, movies, and PS4 games, it is more vulnerable to damage from drops or impacts due to its mechanical components. Users are advised to handle it with care to avoid any potential issues with the spinning disk inside.
