New book by Gaspard Amée
Gaspard Amée, a Swiss-French-Canadian author, has released Marcher près des œufs, a poetic narrative exploring identity, self-construction, and the bonds between generations. The book, published by Éditions du Blé, continues the themes introduced in his 2024 work Sasamat, forming a diptych with shared titles and fragments. Narrative structure and themes
The narrative follows a child accompanying an adult through various landscapes, from the Haute-Provence to the Rockies, reflecting on internal and external worlds. The text emphasizes the body, memory, and nature, blending prose and poetry to explore identity transformations and the challenges of finding one's place. Author’s background
