Four major stations prepare to open

Val Thorens, Tignes, Val d'Isère, and Les 2-Alpes are getting ready to welcome skiers and snowboarders for the upcoming season. These resorts are among the most popular in the French Alps, known for their high-altitude slopes and extensive ski infrastructure.

Snow conditions are favorable

Early snowfall and colder temperatures have created good conditions for the opening of the ski season. Resorts have been monitoring weather patterns closely to ensure that the snow is stable and suitable for opening their slopes safely.

Infrastructure improvements underway

Each of the four stations has been working on various infrastructure projects to enhance the visitor experience. These include upgrades to lift systems, improved access roads, and new facilities aimed at increasing capacity and comfort for guests.

Expect increased visitor numbers

With the popularity of these resorts and the favorable conditions, experts predict a rise in visitor numbers this season. This could lead to longer lines, more crowded slopes, and potentially higher prices for accommodations and lift passes.
