Octobre Rose event in Mayotte

The Department-Region of Mayotte is organizing a breast cancer prevention and screening event for its staff on Thursday, October 22, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of Octobre Rose, a national awareness campaign.

Mobile units provide medical services

Two mobile units from the Maternal and Child Protection (PMI) will be deployed to offer individual consultations and breast palpations conducted by midwives during the event.

Information stands promote awareness

Three information and awareness stands will be set up in the courtyard of the local authority, with the participation of the Regional Cancer Screening Coordination Center (CRCDC), Nariké Msada, and Endo Mayotte.

The event will take place in the courtyard and garden of the Department-Region in Mamoudzou, aiming to raise awareness and encourage early detection of breast cancer among staff.
