The Lisuan LX 7G100 graphics card, developed by the Chinese GPU manufacturer Lisuan, has undergone testing by PC Games Hardware, a well-known technology review site. The results were mixed, showing that while the card can run most recent games without major bugs, its performance is significantly lower than that of top American competitors like AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA. In tests of 14 popular games at 1080p resolution, the LX 7G100 delivered only about one-third the performance of a GeForce RTX 5060, 55% less than a RTX 2060, and 80% less than a Radeon RX 6600. It also only slightly outperformed the now-outdated GeForce GTX 1060 6 Go by 23%. Despite these performance issues, the LX 7G100 showed some advantages over other Chinese GPUs. For example, in Baldur's Gate 3, it achieved 32.2 frames per second in 1080p with average settings, compared to 23.5 FPS for the Moore Threads MTT S80. In Dota 2, the LX 7G100 performed on par with the Radeon RX 6600 or Arc A580 in 1440p. The card also showed improved compatibility with modern games, supporting advanced graphics technologies like DirectX 12 and Vulkan 1.3, and running many titles without major issues. However, the LX 7G100 lacks specialized hardware for ray tracing and artificial intelligence, features that are common in many competing GPUs. As a result, newer games that rely on these technologies do not perform well on the Lisuan card. Lisuan has stated that these features are part of its development plans for future GPU generations. In terms of power consumption, the LX 7G100 used 59 W at rest and up to 199 W during gameplay, with a peak of 215 W in 3DMark. This is better than the Moore Threads MTT S80, which used 108 W at rest and 232 W during gameplay. However, the power consumption at rest is still considered high for simply displaying the Windows desktop. Cooling and software are also areas of concern, with the cooling system described as too noisy for the performance level and the software being basic, with limited hardware monitoring tools and many driver options still in early development. While the performance of the LX 7G100 is far from that of established market leaders, the progress made by Chinese GPU manufacturers is notable and rapid. Lisuan's engineers have made significant strides, particularly in compatibility and power efficiency, but the card is not yet a serious competitor to American giants. The LX 7G100 is not currently available in France, and users are advised to keep an eye on future generations of the product.
