Netflix release date and popularity
Released on Wednesday, October 28 on Netflix, Le Don de la Trahison is already in the top 10 of the most viewed programs on the platform. The series, composed of ten episodes, follows Maíra, a freedom-loving heiress who challenges the authority and toxicity of her formidable mother, while a mysterious woman enters their lives. No confirmation of a second season
Although the series is currently ranked ninth among the most viewed programs on Netflix, neither the platform, the production team, nor the actors have confirmed or denied plans for a season 2. It is noted that it is too early to draw conclusions, as Netflix typically waits several weeks or months before deciding on a series' future. Narrative structure and potential for renewal
The plot begins and ends logically in ten episodes, leaving little room for a second chapter, which could stretch the various stories. If Netflix decides to renew Le Don de la Trahison, a continuation could arrive by the end of 2027 or 2028, allowing the writers and creative team time to prepare.
