The film explores his journey and the possibility of encountering the wild inhabitant of the mountains and forests.

Tracking an elusive bird

Another film, Who Has Seen the Stonechat?, directed by Daniel Auclair and Didier Laneurit, follows ornithologists searching for the elusive stonechat, a bird known for its difficulty in observation. The film also features a story of transmission between Didier and a young birdwatcher named Léo.

Preserving dry stone walls

Whispers of Stones, directed by Cléa Dubray, explores the biodiversity found in traditional dry stone walls in the Poitou countryside. These structures provide habitats for various species, but they are gradually being abandoned or destroyed. The film highlights the efforts of artisans to preserve this craftsmanship and biodiversity.

A woodpecker with a medical twist

Dr. Black Woodpecker, directed by Ariane Lamarsaude and Samuel Toutain, portrays the black woodpecker as a forest doctor who treats diseased trees and prevents the spread of diseases. The film draws inspiration from successful medical series and the French voice of Hugh Laurie from Dr. House.
