Hisense, a major television manufacturer, has unveiled a new range of lifestyle-focused televisions at IFA 2026, an international trade fair for consumer electronics. These models aim to merge home entertainment with interior design, offering devices that not only provide high-quality viewing experiences but also serve as aesthetic elements in modern living spaces. Three key models highlight this strategy: the S7, designed to function as an exhibition canvas; the S5Q, featuring a clean white finish; and the RoamView 32S6, a detachable touchscreen screen intended for use throughout the home. The S7 reuses the Canvas TV concept, which was previously introduced by Hisense. It is available in 65 and 75-inch sizes and combines a matte panel with QLED (Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode) technology. This combination minimizes reflections and enhances the viewing experience, whether watching videos or displaying digital artworks in active standby mode. The S7 also includes a 2.0.2 audio system integrated into the chassis, offering improved sound quality. Competitors in this niche market include Samsung's The Frame, LG's Gallery TV, TCL's NXTVision, and Amazon's Ember Artline, although the latter is not sold in some regions. The S5Q is tailored for use in bright rooms, with a white finish that helps reflect ambient light. It is available in two sizes: a 43-inch model with 4K QLED resolution and a 32-inch model with Full HD QLED resolution. In some markets, it is known as Blanc Morandi, a name that reflects its minimalist and neutral aesthetic. The RoamView 32S6, on the other hand, is a 32-inch 4K touchscreen with an integrated camera. It runs on the Android system and features a battery that allows up to 10 hours of use without recharging. It also includes a wheeled support that allows for tilt, height adjustment, and 360-degree orientation, making it easy to move around the home. The screen can be detached from its stand and placed on a table for added flexibility. Pricing for the models varies. The 55S7S is priced at 1,499 euros, and the 65S7S at 1,699 euros, with both expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2026. The S5Q has an observed price of 189 euros for the 32S5Q and an indicative price of 599 euros for the 43S5Q, both of which are immediately available. The RoamView 32S6 is offered at an indicative price of 1,499 euros, with availability planned for the fourth quarter of 2026 as well.
