Two accidents in Tarn department

New road accidents occurred in the Tarn department over the weekend, resulting in one death and one person seriously injured.

First accident near Blaye les Mines

The first road accident occurred around midnight during the night of Friday to Sunday near Blaye les Mines in the north of the department. According to the emergency services, the driver of the vehicle, who was in his fifties, died.

Single vehicle involved

According to the initial elements of the investigation, only one vehicle was involved in this accident. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Second accident near Lavaur

The second road accident, particularly serious, occurred a little later during the night of Friday to Saturday, according to the emergency services. Again, only one vehicle would be involved.

Serious injury in Lavaur crash

Near Lavaur, the female driver lost control of her vehicle, which crashed into a tree along the road. The seriously injured driver was transported to the Castres hospital for treatment.
