Price drop for Kioxia SSD

The Kioxia Exceria Plus G4 2 To internal SSD is currently available at Topbiz.fr for less than 450 €, representing a decrease of approximately 52% compared to the average price observed over the past month.

Discount calculation method

This discount is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices offered by all merchants for the product, while applying rules to exclude unclear tax policies by certain sellers, often referred to as "gray" stores, typically involved in imports from China.

Features of the Kioxia Exceria Plus G4

The Kioxia Exceria Plus G4 is available in 1 To and 2 To versions and is the first consumer-oriented SSD from the Japanese company compatible with the PCIe Gen 5 interface, promising sequential speeds higher than those of the previous generation.

Performance limitations

However, the Exceria Plus G4 does not fully exploit the bandwidth of its interface, offering performance that is present but limited given its entry-level pricing.

Competing SSD models

In comparison, the Samsung 990 Pro 1 To is noted as an excellent internal SSD with ultra-fast read and write speeds, directly competing with the KC3000 from Kingston, which was already very fast, while offering better temperature control.
