Student List targets key institutions

The Student List, after winning the recent legislative elections, has stated its intention to challenge elements of Aleksandar Vučić's administration, calling for leadership changes in the police, judiciary, and public media, as well as the restart of several stalled investigations. High-level resignations are already beginning within these sectors.

Press conference in Pioneer Park

The Student List held its first press conference following its election victory on October 25 in Pioneer Park, a public park in the capital. The space had been occupied by supporters of Vučić's government until the evening of the election, a group described as having a paramilitary look and nicknamed "Čacilend."

Symbolic setting for the event

The press conference took place beneath a century-old oak tree, without the use of loudspeakers, in front of journalists and many citizens. Some attendees brought their children and pets, creating a public and informal atmosphere.

Leader outlines core goals

Student List leader Filip Ubović stated that the party received a clear mandate to restore the rule of law, ensure equal treatment under the law, and achieve the "liberation of institutions" from what he described as political influence.
