Tesla unveils Cybercab at Paris Motor Show

At the Paris Motor Show 2026, Tesla has made its presence felt with the unveiling of the Cybercab, an autonomous taxi officially launched in the United States in September 2023 in the state of Texas. The vehicle is on display in Pavilion 7.1, a small Tesla stand that is difficult to miss due to the gold color of the Cybercab.

Cybercab’s dimensions and interior design

The autonomous taxi has dimensions of 4.45 meters in length and 1.75 meters in width, with a ceiling height of 1.41 meters. Despite its narrow width, the Cybercab features two wide seats and a spacious interior that allows for legroom of up to 1.10 meters.

Interior features and technology

The interior is devoid of a steering wheel and pedals, with a large 21-inch screen centralizing all functions. The vehicle has an enormous trunk volume of 572 liters. However, it lacks significant storage space beyond simple cup holders.

Autonomous driving and European restrictions

The Cybercab is not intended to drive in France and is currently only available outside the United States. It operates at level 5 autonomous driving, the highest level where the vehicle performs all driving functions independently. Such a level is not currently authorized in Europe.
