An 18-year-old man, Kingston Bradley, has been arrested in Smyrna, Georgia, after police discovered a dismembered human torso inside a plastic tub at an apartment complex. According to local news outlet 11Alive, Bradley was charged with concealing the death and is being held without bond at Cobb County Jail. The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday when officers noticed Bradley moving the tub through an outdoor area at the Park Valley Apartments. When he realized he was being watched, he allegedly dropped the tub in a dirt walkway and ran into his apartment within the same complex. Police were alerted to the situation after receiving a missing person’s report, which led them to the apartment complex. Upon opening the tub, officers found a dismembered human torso inside. During their search of Bradley’s apartment, investigators reportedly discovered multiple bloodstains, a large saw covered in blood, a mop, a bucket of water, and a carpet cleaner. The apartment also had a strong smell of bleach, suggesting an attempt to clean up evidence. The victim has been identified as Shanteria "Tia" Mosely, a woman who had left home to make DoorDash deliveries and did not return. Her family tracked her phone to the apartment complex and spoke to Bradley, who allegedly claimed he had not seen her. Mosely’s aunt, Michelle Weaver, reportedly saw Bradley moving the tub. The Smyrna Police Department is continuing its investigation into the case. Bradley has a prior unresolved legal issue from late 2024 involving a fight with his father. He was charged with two counts of terroristic threats, battery, simple battery, and criminal trespass-damage to property. According to court documents, Bradley allegedly hit his father with an Xbox controller, breaking down his bedroom door, and then pushed a 15-year-old male juvenile into a window, shattering it. He also allegedly made threats suggesting the death of his father. Bradley pleaded not guilty to those charges in April and is scheduled to appear in court again on October 6. This case has raised concerns in the local community about safety and the potential for unresolved conflicts to escalate into violent acts. Authorities are working to determine the full scope of Bradley’s actions and whether there are additional victims or evidence to be uncovered. The investigation remains ongoing, with more details expected as the case progresses through the legal system.
