Police in Smyrna, Georgia, discovered the dismembered remains of a woman inside garbage bags stored in a car trunk at an apartment complex this week. The victim, Shanteria Mosley — known to family and friends as "KT" — was a DoorDash delivery driver. Investigators noted that one of the bags "was pulled tightly showing the outline of a body part." The discovery occurred during a check of a vehicle at Park Valley Apartments, following a missing person report filed earlier in the week. Authorities waited for officials from the Cobb County medical examiner's office to arrive before opening the bags to confirm they contained body parts. An 18-year-old man, Kingston Bradley of Smyrna, Georgia, was arrested and charged with concealing the death of another and malice murder in connection with Mosley's death. Bradley lives with his father at Park Valley Apartments, where the body was found. According to Lt. Meredith Holt, the public information officer for the Smyrna Police Department, the victim was not working the day she was killed. However, Holt did not confirm whether Bradley and Mosley knew each other before the incident, stating that authorities are still investigating how the two were connected. The investigation into Mosley's death is ongoing, with police seeking to determine the full circumstances surrounding her murder. The case has drawn attention from the local community and raised questions about the safety of individuals in the area. Neither DoorDash nor family members for Mosley immediately returned requests for comment, leaving many details of the case still unclear. Authorities have emphasized the importance of continuing the investigation to bring justice for Mosley and to ensure the safety of others. The case has also prompted discussions about the need for increased awareness and support for individuals working in delivery services, who often operate in high-traffic areas and may be at greater risk of encountering dangerous situations.
