The Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro is now available for 241.45 €, which is an 11% discount compared to its usual price, as reported by Amazon. This price drop is determined by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices offered by other merchants for the same product over the past month. Certain rules are in place to ensure that prices from stores with unclear tax policies are excluded from the calculation. Huawei is continuing to grow its line of smartwatches with the Watch Fit 5 Pro, which is designed to support athletes during training and also to help less active individuals reduce the risks of a sedentary lifestyle. The watch features a well-crafted body, long battery life, and quick charging, along with generally accurate heart rate monitoring. However, the strap is not particularly comfortable, and the software ecosystem remains somewhat limited. Compared to the previous model, the Watch Fit 4 Pro, the Watch Fit 5 Pro shows improvement, with more accurate sports tracking and a more refined design. Its short training sessions aimed at reducing sedentary behavior are well-designed, and its health and wellness features are comprehensive enough to appeal to a wide range of users. However, users must be willing to wear a smartwatch that is becoming larger each year, which might not be ideal for those with smaller wrists. Additionally, they should be prepared to accept a software ecosystem that is still somewhat limited in functionality. An alternative to the Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro is the Amazfit Balance 2, which is enjoyable to use and comes with sensors that allow for extended use without worrying about battery life. However, it has some inaccuracies in heart rate tracking and a closed software system that limits user customization. Unlike the Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro, the Amazfit Balance 2 does not support NFC payments, which is a feature that some users may find essential. Both watches offer different trade-offs in terms of design, functionality, and user experience, and the choice between them depends on individual preferences and needs.
