New air purifier from Dyson

Dyson has introduced the HushJet HJ10, a new air purifier designed to deliver powerful air purification while maintaining a high level of silence.

Design and dimensions

The device measures 47 x 23 x 23 cm and weighs 3.15 kg, with an air flow rate of 250 m³/h and the ability to cover an area of 100 m². It has a cylindrical, reactor-like shape, different from Dyson's usual Purifier models.

Filter system

The HushJet HJ10 features a HEPA filter, carbon filter, pre-filter, and a formaldehyde filter. It also includes an electrostatic filter designed to last up to five years.

Features and controls

The device includes an automatic mode, a timer, and operates at 42 dB. It has an integrated control panel with three speed levels, automatic mode, timer, and night mode. The front includes an LCD screen to display air quality and sensor readings.

Air quality monitoring

The HushJet HJ10 monitors particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), volatile organic compounds (COV), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and a new CO2 sensor. It connects to the Dyson Link app for detailed tracking, scheduling, and remote control.

Performance and efficiency

The HushJet HJ10 can eliminate 50% of fine particles in a test room in 4 minutes and 11 seconds at maximum speed. It consumes 3.5 W in night mode and up to 19.6 W at maximum power, making it energy efficient and ideal for a bedroom.
