French police seize large cocaine haul

French police conducted an operation near Toulouse, resulting in the seizure of 40 kilograms of cocaine and the arrest of four individuals. The operation took place during the night of Thursday to Friday following several months of surveillance.

Operation involved multiple vehicles

The police, supported by the BRI, intercepted a convoy composed of several vehicles. The BRI, or Brigade de Répression des Infractions, is a specialized unit focused on serious crimes such as drug trafficking and organized crime.

Cocaine valued at over one million euros

The value of the seized cocaine is estimated at more than one million euros. This amount reflects the high street value of the drug in the region and underscores the scale of the operation.

Arrested individuals’ identities unknown

The identities of the individuals arrested and their affiliations with Toulouse are not yet known. Authorities are expected to release more details as the investigation progresses.
