Bus route changes begin in Seine-Saint-Denis

Starting on Sunday, November 1, 2026, several bus lines in Seine-Saint-Denis will change their frequency, schedules, or routes. The areas of Montreuil, Neuilly-Plaisance, Neuilly-sur-Marne, and Saint-Ouen are among those affected. A new route, line 314, is being introduced to improve access to the Chanoux industrial area.

Reorganization covers two bus networks

The reorganization, announced by Île-de-France Mobilités on October 21, affects two bus networks that cross Seine-Saint-Denis: Bords de Marne in the south and Boucle Nord de Seine in the west. For regular commuters, the changes may affect the time of the first bus, waiting times at stops, and connections with the metro and RER.

New line connects Neuilly-Plaisance to industrial area

In the southern part of the department, the most visible change is at the Neuilly-Plaisance station. The new line 314 will connect this station to the Chanoux industrial area in Neuilly-sur-Marne. It will run Monday to Friday, with a frequency of every 15 minutes during peak hours and every hour during off-peak times. Line 314 will take over stops previously served by line 214.

Line 214 continues with improved service

Line 214 will not be discontinued. Instead, it is among the lines that will see improved frequency, along with lines 116, 127, 203, and 303, which serve different parts of the eastern suburbs. Lines 116, 203, and 214 will also have extended schedules, with earlier departures or later services depending on the line.

Weekend and weekday frequency improvements

Travelers in Montreuil and nearby communes will see changes on lines 118 and 124, which are also having their frequencies improved. Line 127 is part of this series of enhancements. The changes are detailed in the presentation of the Bords de Marne network. Other lines in the same network have more limited schedule adjustments.

New terminus for line 140 in Saint-Ouen

In the western part of Seine-Saint-Denis, line 140 will be extended to Mairie de Saint-Ouen. This new endpoint will allow a connection with metro line 14. Île-de-France Mobilités also plans to extend evening hours, which will benefit people who finish work late or use the rail network. This change is part of a broader reorganization of the Boucle Nord de Seine network.

Information available online and in affected areas

Travelers can access the new schedules and routes on the Île-de-France Mobilités website or app before their trip starting in early November. An information campaign will be launched in the affected communes, with details shared until November 20. The changes take effect on November 1, with some weekday-only lines beginning on Monday, November 2.
