Guide dog event in Béziers

The guide dog association is hosting a public event in Béziers on Wednesday, October 21, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the Paul-Riquet avenues, in front of the theater's steps.

Event aims to educate the public

The event seeks to introduce the general public to the role of guide dogs and the training required before they can accompany a visually impaired person.

Participants include educators and handlers

Educators, people accompanied by their guide dogs, host families, and volunteer relay families will be present to share their experiences.

Free and open to all

The event is free and open to all, with numerous activities available for visitors of all ages.

Interactive demonstrations and exchanges

Demonstrations of guidance will allow visitors to observe the dogs in real situations, while visitors will be able to exchange with their handlers and better understand how their companion changes their daily life, particularly in their mobility and independence.
